Fished the cov today from 230-8pm. Weather conditions,n-nw winds 15-20,gusting to 25. Mostly cloudy to clear sunshine/bluebird skies. Water temps 55-58deg. Depths fished-2-18feet. baits used, jerkbait(suspending lucky craft),blak/blu jig, tight wobble crankbait in craw pattern, mojo rig, drop shot, frenzy rattlr. Caught probabaly 30-40 fish today between my buddy and i. Two trout (one brown/one rainbow) 6 or 7 pickeral, tons of rock bass(which dont even count) and the rest 20 plus bass. Most fish were caught in the 4-6 ft range but the key today was YOU HAD TO BE AROUND ROCKS or no bites, until late in day. First 3/4 of the day if we were not fishing rocks we didnt get bit. All in all fun day, earliest that i have been out in 3 years.
