when will the ct river go down? stop raining! its almost may! not one keeper yet

I haven't caught a thing in the river yet.... Even in the middle of the pike spawn, in all the usual places I find them, haven't even seen one. Something's fishy here...

heard pike killoff cause low and warm water last year

In the river, all I have seen, heard, and experienced has pointed to something wrong w/ the pike fishery (at least in the Hartford area). Even the guys at CT Outfitters have not caught anything all ice season up to now. I have not heard anything about a fish kill, but I agree, somethings up! And it's not good. Confused

Just a thought... really cold water. Floods debris ect thinking they went into the tributes and further than last spawn.... Not pike fishier but it makes sense to me.... only an opinion....

i have a couple friends who got into some nice pike one day in the river, they found em stacked up in the cromwell area!
