Been lurking for a few weeks, observing posts. Like the maturity and informative posts. My name is Mark, 40y/o. I enjoy all freshwater fishing, itching to get some type of water craft to get "on the water". I have 2 set ups, a shimano spirex with 6 lb and a shimano spirex with 12lb test. Both with Ugly Sticks. I enjoy just getting in my car and finding a place. Been to Bigalo to West hill pond.
Will be exploring Tankerhoosen in Vernon, looking to see if I can access from shoreline. Been catching trout that last couple weeks at Walkers Resevoir in Vernon...No bass yet this hear. Horrible luck at the Bolton ponds at least from the shore.

I find your posts very informative and hope to add to the forums.

Welcome. I love my Ugly Stiks, too.

Have you ever fished Morey Pond, off of Interstate 84? I drove past it on my way to Boston, today. I didn't see any boats on either side of 84.

Yes, a couple of times last year. I've seen some small boats/ canoes on there. They have put trees in the water to create some coverage for fish. I've never caught anything though... in the summer, there are a lot of weeds that you can't see, but when even casting a shallow crankbait you'll pull weeds. It looks like it would be a fish haven, I am going to hit Morey/ Bigalo this upcoming week while I'm on vacation.
