As all of you know who fished today, the conditions were pretty rough. cold and windy.

After our boat was inspected and we paid Hank, we were on the water by 6:30.

By 7:08 all three of us had a keeper. The biggest was a solid 5 lber followed by a nice 3 lber and mine runt was a nice fat 2 lber.

We boated 10 fish by 11 am and it was time to get off

The water temp was between 39.8 and 41.3

We also boated 2 large Slimedarts

All fish caught on hard baits on the pause. Which by the way seemed like forever!!! 1 fish on a lipless retrieved very slow.

Came up with something new on this trip. Whoever wears gloves knows its a pain in the ass. They get wet, hooks get attached, pretty tough when using a baitcaster in the wind...right. Try some surgical rubber gloves, worked out pretty well.

My buddy Frank as usual gets the glory with the days biggest fish.

Boat ran well. Needed to have some kind of drink on board besides water today. Maybe a nip or two of Jameson

I fished a t yesterday without a sniff all day at lake Hpus. The wind was brutal, it was cold and wet. Congrats on finding them, I wish I had a gallon of booze with me yesterday.

slimedart is a pickerell.

hey cmorjoe, if it makes you feel any better it took me a while to figure out what a slime dart was but it's just a made up name for a pickerel.

The weather must have been real patchy! The ONLY reason I got out was the girlfriend said "its really nice if you wanna fish for a little bit, I would go sit in the boat and read..." It was all good till I dropped a 14" trout on her book Rolling Eyes
