That's right, Malloy about to sign bill 1196 which includes among other land deals one that will swap land purchased by ct taxpayers as conservation land with I believe Heritage trust funds to be kept as open space along the ct river. This will be the first time a deal of this type has been allowed by ct lawmakers and should be a huge wakeup call to those of us that enjoy the outdoors and and support open space for generations to come. A very sad "backroom deal" by state lawmakers in deed. Ms. Daily should be ashamed and somehow held accountable for her actions. |

i was under the impression that land swaps happen all the time. unless they swapped it for some horrible unusable parcel of land i dont see the problem... _________________ PB's:
