This is really more of a fishing equipment report than a fishing report. jonnyfly00 (aka Jon) and I decided to paddle/pedal around the upper pond at Nod Brook WMA for a few hours. Neither of us caught anything, but we spotted a yellow perch in the shallows of the southeast corner of the pond and a bunch of sunnies in the extreme shallows between the creek and the culvert in the northwest corner of the pond. I spent most of my time on the water just pedaling around, not fishing:

I've only played with my new Humminbird 798ci HD SI Combo during this one outing, but I'm loving it so far. I need to find a way to dampen a harmonic oscillation that occurs in the tube on which I've mounted the transducer when I go more than a couple of miles per hour, but, otherwise, it works great.
