Went out to Nod brook to fish the lower pond yesterday. Fished closer to the river, but caught only a bunch of fallfish. Some of them I saved for bait, and others were jsut too big to keep for anything but pike. Here's a shot of my personal best minnow on a tip up:
Today I fished Countryside park in Avon using small shiners for trout. I got a flag within the first half hour, and landed a 15 inch rainbow trout. Stayed fo another 2 hours but got nothing jigging and no more flags.

those fallfish look to be a great bait, if i were you ide put some out on tipups there. Big bass will eat those, if theres any 5+ pounders in there they can eat that big one |

You and Derek have the same taste in cutting boards! _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

It may seem that way to you. I guess my mom and derek's wife seem to hold sway over cutting board designs in our households. But I am a big fan of those patterns! |
