I know what you mean about time off from work Chileking. I`m in the same boat but can`t complain about it, could be worst! I was on Ball Pond yesterday. The ice is 8" with about a foot of snow on the north end. Fished from about 8am till 1 or so with my son. got a few flags but no fish using medium shiners(damm blue gills!). Kept moving the 10 tip-ups around and rebaiting looking for LMB. Gave that auger a work-out! Did some Jigging with dozens of Bluegills and one nice LMB coming through the holes! Great day and awesome weather we had only to become better with the Jets win over New England!! Hope this helps you out Chileking! |
