Just got back from Bantam, ice was beautiful black ice! It was 2 3/4 to 3 1/2 in the north bay (very solid). I hooked up with a 28 1/2 northern, and missed one that ripped out 30+ yards of line and then dropped it. I saw a few other nice pike pulled out. All in all a nice afternoon, I was there from 12:45 till just after sunset. Not sure where you can park down at the south bay but I did drive by at 12:45 and not a soul out there,

are you using tipups or jigging,,,, |

Billy, I was using jigs, with larger shiners.
