Hi everyone,

Christmas is coming up and I'm trying to get my wife something she'll actually like for a change. Whenever we've gone shooting with friends in NY, she's had a blast, and she's talked a lot about wanting to do that here, too.

I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a good firearm training course that we could both attend. Does anyone know of any that offer private instruction as opposed to groups? (it's still a present, so it has to be "special")

The objective would be to get us started down the road of being able to enjoy this pastime safely, and to try out some different firearms to see what kind she would like to purchase.

We are in the greater Hartford area, and any advice would be appreciated!

Thank you,

J.P.

Hey Vudak,

I will call my buddy tomorrow and get some names and numbers of a few NRA instructors I shoot with and send you a PM in the next day or two.

I know a guy who does the training and there are also a number of places you can check out. Wolf's in Bristol is a cool place with some good guys and Hoffman's in Newington is as well.

JP,

The Newington FD will be hosting a pistol class soon. after the holidays.

It's going to be the UTAH pistol class. This means you can carry a gun in I think it's 38 states.??

I have to read the details more.

It's $130.00. If your interested I can post dates once they are firmed up.

Ron

ask for Les Richardson and tell him Justin Kulvinskas sent you. Les is the real deal and offers a variety of classes at affordable prices.

Hey there Captain Maynard Smile

The problem is, now she EXPECTS regular fishing charters with you as a matter of course. It would be like giving her air haha.

Justin, I'll send Mr. Richardson an email. Thanks!
