Went to Hudson River Friday the 3rd of September to do some flippin, what a great day, went with a good friend of mine, We started froggin and had some heart thumpin action, chestnut was so freakin thick that we lost alot of fish, I started flippin and caught some nice fish, my buddy started throwing a buzz shad weightless on the nut and kicked my butt, we went threw 2 packages of buzz shads, I also caught fish with a jig, punching it threw the matt and reeling it up to the matt and violently shaking it, fish were exploding on it, but I didnt hook that many, All in all it was a great day, For all you guys that like to frog, Im telling you. You will love the weeds on the Hudson. Its really not that far. I plan on going back there so if anybody wants to help with fuel I will show you some serious chestnut. Bring the braid, Good luck, and great fishin, Jim |

nice post. I like the sound of the entire thing! The nuts on the hudson are so sweet. Last time I was there I made the run from Catskill to Wappinger (sp?) Creek to fish the nuts. What a place! _________________
