Finally got the boat out after a year and a mouse living in the engine..story to come later.
ANyways fished from 6-9 pm with my nephew. Water temp was 83 air temp was 78 and winds where light to 5mph northeast. Caught over a dozen largies between the two of us. Some came on a melon senko in 8-10 feet near grass and the rest came on small poppers (rebel,xcalibur) color was gold/black. Baits were eorked slowly and most hits came on a long pause. Some strikes were pretty cool and the fish jumped over the bait numerous times before taking it. Caught fish pretty much everyplace in the lake. It was a good frist trip. Tried small jigs in two colors,spinnerbaits,white tubes(jerkbait style) and buzzbaits. Our most productive was the popper. Great first trip,the lil guys was layin the smack on me for a while...got nervous.

actually havent run it yet used tm,bringing to dealer this week to have it checked out. Dont want any trouble when i have the kids next month.
