up at the up lakeXD we are ceatchin a few nice fish. the Seconed night we started pickin them up on a rattle trap. then my dad lost a BIG SMALLIE at least 4.5-5 lbs. then yesterday there is a camp at the end of our cove and a long dock about 200 ft long. i decided To take the Canoe out there and followed a school of smallies out and got a small one in a jig Then a 2 lb lmb. Then i fliped under the dock and wasnt paying atention talkin to upa few of the kids on the dock and the rod almost came out of my hand and set the hook and a moster largemouth cameout from under the dock . then jumped and i started to put the rod tip under The water so shed stay down . my reel just stoped working and backed up then she went under the dock and snaped me off . she looked to be about 7 lbs. but then cougth a few more about 2 1/2.today i cought 2 sofare both smallies biggest 2.6
