Just got back from pattigansit.
fished from the dock while my grandma and sister were eating lunch in the car. i decided to try a brown/black 3/8 oz football head jig with a 3 in rootbeer yammamoto crayfish trailer.
I fliped the weeds and on my third cast "THUMP" i set the hook and pulled up a rat about 9"... a few casts later i set the hook and it started to jump it looked like a smallie but i dont think there is any in there... but he burried me in the weeds and came off. Few minuts after i started realin in to cast somewhere else the biggest pickeral i have ever seen followd the jig he was at least 6 lbs about 30" long. then i decided to switch to a black/blue Stalker jig and nothin for about 10 mins. so i switched to a Scum Frog green/red speckles. and the next cast a 3 ponder slamed it at the edge of the weeds and got him in:)))) thankfully he was barly hooked!... the last cast i threw the Stalker jig once again and then a small "THUMP" and then again set the hook on another rat about 6": long.

it was good to get out again hopefully can befor sunday. Gettin ready to fish another JR federation tournement at Indian lake in RI...
