Hit Bantam yesterday from noon till 5pm. I couldn't do anything wrong! I KILLED EM! Managed to boat 5 lmb, 4 pike and 2 Rock Bass. This one weighed in at 4.75lbs! Notice the dent in the belly, wish she had eggs in her, she would've bounced it upto 6 lbs NO DOUBT! All fish were caught on a cheap 99 cent white spinner bait from Wal Mart! Go figure, I've spent a fortune on good lures, who woulda thunk??? Water temp was hovering around 70 degrees, steady 600 mph Bantam WIIIIND with overcast skies.
All fish were caught in the weeds.
Had the whole lake to myself - AWESOME DAY!!!

Great job,..the fishing really seems to be picking up lately for most folks!
Last night I lost one about that size at the side of my boat!! Glad to see you got yours all the way with a nice pic!

Nice fish. Trying to decide on Bantam or Waramaug for Sunday. Never know what lure will produce. Fish don't care if it's a $$ Luckycraft or Walmart special.

| great job out there and I too have a few of those $1 spinnerbaits from walmart. The quality is a little flimsy but they work just fine. |
