Its back to full till for water. I have been wondering how the fishing is. Well I hit it from shore this morning. Got there to find a couple people fishing. I fished off the dock. I tied on a baby bass colored popper. And casted to the rip rap(Rocks) Nothing. I heard a splash come from next to me so I look over and very fantly see something. Run to the car and grab the polarized glasses. What a sweet idea. If you get a good pair you can see well into the water. Run back and start scaning the water. All of a sudden I see a small larry come chasing some sunfish. Sweet hungry Larry. Threw the popper in front of him and pop it. Follows it but no hit.
Tied on a white tube( Thinking guarding a bed). Followed that around too. What the @$^& is going on. Switch to a white pearl lam senko. Toss that he grabs it. SWEET GOT HIM. Nope. Missed. I got him to follow some more. I started spreading spelly jelly. I had so much at one point it looked like a oil spill. I seen him hit the bugs on top. So I grabed a spanky. Peanut butter color and put a thick coat of smelly jelly on it. He loved it so much all he did was watch spanky spread out on the bottom. I twitched it, crawled it. NOTHING. He was haveing a bad lockjaw problem. I gave up because I had to go to work. It was fun and frustrating at the same time.
Till next time later. _________________ I Love My Fishing And NASCAR. But When There Is ICE On The Pond Bet Your Britches I Will Be There.
