Monday I tried this pond by Lowes Distrabution in Plainfeild it called Packer pond its not big but when you know how to fish weeds and over groth you get great results I catch three pound bass and something big snapped my pole in half plain to go back after the weather brakes with my heavey rod. |

I just checked the pond out on satellite imagery and it looks like a decent size place. Can you launch a jon boat or canoe in there? Thanks for the post. |

Yeah you could put a boat or something it would have to be done from the train tracks side of the pond witch would work to the persons advantage cause this would scare the fish from the vegitation side. |

I fished there once last year and yes it was weedy. I didn't have any luck catching any fish but it is a nice spot. I was hoping to see a two headed frog or something while i was there. |
