Well begged my mom to take me to billings for my last fishing in CT and I was pumped when I got there. I had my spot to myself for once, and was excited to try out some new tackle(jig, senkos, and some new trokar hooks) Got there around 1300 and started throwing my jig. So there I was jigging the heck out of the place and on the other side of the ledge/cliff I was fishing from out of casting distance I saw a MASSIVE LMB 5+lbs. So what did I do... I skrewed it up I tried to get into casting distance and at the same time I kicked my water bottle into the water and spooked it I tried to catch it for a half-hour then moved on but caught nothing. So that was the first time in 8 trips there(2 illegaly ) that I did not catch a fish. And I failed to catch a trophy before I move(trophy to me ) I would say I hope for better luck next time BUT THERE IS NO NEXT TIME!!! BUT on the bright side this makes for a good fishing tale |
