after fishing bantam a bunch i wanted to go to a lake that i already knew. got to mudge around noon and fished the entire afternoon. the water temps were 74-75. i threw 2 lures a small black/blue jig 1/4 oz and a big black blue jig 1/2 oz. all fish came under 5 feet of water in openings in the lily pads except 2. both of those came off grass near laydowns. the size today was quite a bit better then what it usually is. several fish in the 3 lb range and i did manage to get a 5# LMB. no picture of the 5# because as i dipped her in to keep her wet she decided to say bye. here is a few pics of the fish i managed. total 16 LMB all quality keepers _________________ www.nakedbaitco.com |

Jon
Good to here Mudge is producing. Haven't been there yet this year.
Last year seemed to be down size wise.

Jon - looks like a nice day! Thanks for the report!!!
Were you fishing the end near the launch or the other end near the beach? or somewhere in between....
For all the years I have lived in Sharon and Lakeville, I have only fished Mudge from shore in only a few spots... This year I will get out there! _________________ ~ Marc

Carl, it says in the DEP book that Mudge has a 7.5HP motor limit with a 6mph speed limit. _________________ Eat, Sleep, Fish......I Love my SKEETER ZX225!!!
