Got on the water 8:30am. Fished for an hour on the main lake...nothing.
Hit the south part of the lake got a nice almost 5 lber on a rattle trap. Water temp 49-52 deg. Water stained..more than usual. We put 6 keepers in the boat and one short. My buddy got a nice 3 lbr on a spinnerbait. Today, the crankbaits prevailed
At the launch we saw/caught/released a huge crawfish. Had to be 7" long!!
Pretty cool looking.
Another great day to be on the water!! 51 more days to Winnipesauki!!! |

Nice report! you shoulda boiled up that craw, and dunked it in drawn butter!!
I tell ya... you could have told me you caught an 11 pounder out of congamond, and I still wouldn't dunk the boat there... I dont know what it is about that body of water, but it hates me. Ive caught fish there... but something about it... evil spirits or something. |
