Hey Gang.
Anyone been dunking bait in the salt scene yet??
Once the yard dries up enough to get the boat out of the back yard, was thinking about a run for Blacks, or early schoolies... we still have 2 weeks til winter flounder opens.. |

I saw a CT report on a national forum and the guy said that he's actually caught a couple of keeper stripers in the last 2 weeks,....up to 32" in one of the river-mouths (not sure which one). _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

Yeah, Ive heard the cod bite is decent out there.
Was puttin feelers out to see if any tide runnin Tog were comin off the reefs yet.
This past weekend was a wicked soaker, if I even try to get at the boat, will need a 2nd truck to get us out of the muck back there.
Somethin tells me, it gonna be a fresh water weekend. |

WOW. Totally forgot about the flounder season... Actually... its more like I forgot is already APRIL.
Too bad its too smoooshy to pull the boat from the back yard, this weekend would be SWEEEEET out there.
Gonna walk the mouth the the CT on Sunday, tossin swimmers for Stripers... provided the board walk is above water. |
