I got my first bass of the season today, 3/10/10 it was a smallie about 2 ta 2 1/2 lb. I got it on a 1/16th oz smoke with red fleck tube. I also had a pretty good size smallie fallow my jerk bait in but he didn't take it. Only got the one but it still felt good to catch a nice solid smallie, the thing did not put up a fight at all haha but there is still ice all over the lake so the water is def still chilly. I got a few pics with it, im gonna try to put them up soon. It was a good day to take advantage of the real light jig head with the light winds we had. Cant wait for the launch to thaw so i can get out there in my boat.

You got that right. Feels good to actually feel a little something on the other end of the line and know your setting the hook on a fish. |
