Tmac thats why I got my name Laughing . Stupid gillz eat all the little bass and then they get to big, and then the big bass can't smash em because their spine will get stuck in the bass's throat. I've caught em up to 11 inches Mad I've been doing some work on a few small sh*t holes in Farmington, and Burlington and within 2 years the qaulity of bass have been getting better.

The results:

The 7 pounder in the middle didn't come from one of my experimental ponds, but the rest have. Theres a 6 pounder, two 5 pounders, and a heavy 4 pounder.

Same with the river dace in the Farmington river. They eat all flies and worms that flow down the river. Making it harder for the trout to grow big. What I do is keep the 7 to 10 inches for live bait for pike fishin or to feed my pet bass. Then what I do with the smaller ones like 3 to 6 inches I cut the tailfin so they can't swim right, and I purposely set them free next to log jams Laughing. Just helpin out my brown and rainbow buddies. Then with the monsters over a 18 inches I throw them into the woods for the coons and coyotes to eat. The dace that are between 12 to 15 I release to make more "snackers" for the trout. So far it's workin pretty good in the Farmington got this little rainbow early this spring, on a 4 inch kickin shad gizzard shad color.

Good fight on my 10ft 6 St. Croix Wild River Noodle Rod. I miss my lumbajack days...

Thanks she went 25 1/4 inches long and according to the formula in the back of the fishing guide she weighed 7 pounds 2 ounces. That rainbow was nothing compared to the brown I lost one June night when the water was high and brown. Had to be at least 28 no lie. All I saw was a big hook jaw, and a eyeball about the size of a nickel look at me and spit out my Zara Spook
