Went to upper Moodus today for a couple of hours. Got there at 2:00 and left at 3:30. Fished around the launch with no bites. Then worked the shorline around towards the damn...one good bite but no hook-up. Set on a one pounder or so in one of the little cuts on the far side and that was about it. Got it on a 1/4 oz brown and black football jig with a brown paca chunk regular size trailer. Felt good to run down to the causeway on plane before I left. Wish I had a little more time. Pretty windy...water temp 50. Hope to get over to Hayward tomorrow and see what's going on there. Not too many days left of good weather.
