I need 6 jumbo sized swimming pool noodles. Tried several places, even a pool supply store and cant seem to find any.
I have one, and its the regular one, and no use to me. The jumbo are about 4 inches around.
Anyone have some of these they are willing to offload?

BTW, these are for a kayak rack made from 1 5/8 inch tubes.

I saw some at ace hardware on the silas deane highway on 10/14. I don't know the exact diameter but they did look to be about 4". I have to go back there tomorrow to return some fertalizer that I didn't use so I will check it out for you and post back.

Rookie, I saw some awhile back at Ocean State Job Lot as they usually carried those cheap. By the way, which kayak do you have? I just picked up a Hobie Pro Angler recently to try kayak fishing and love it.

Bass Addict, Please let me know if you ran into them. I have no problem going for a ride to get them.
I went to ocean state and they didn't have any more. We have a relative that works at the Milford store and she looked in the back even.
I got one small one from walmart for the kids over the summer, but one doesnt cut it, and its not enough cushion for them, to my preferences.
Problem is, they are out of season.

Jim, i got 2 of the sit in fishing kayaks from dicks. Took out the little boat with the wife the following weekend and our daughters used the kayaks.
We ended up going back to dicks and getting the girls thier very own kayaks as early christmas presents.

Didnt really buy these for fishing. i have the little crawdad for that. These are more for fun. The day after i got them, my buddy called me up in the morning and surprised me that he took the day off and wanted to go fishing. I didnt say anything other than "just come to my house".
He was in for a trip for sure. We parked his truck down river and took the kayaks for a 8 hour trip down the naugatuck river and beat the death out of them. Caught alot of small smallies too.
We filled these up several times on that trip. It was a blast, but a little to long of a trip. Mostly because the water was a little to low in a little to many places.

Took the wife and girls down there for a little shorter trip and they fell in love with the idea, ONLY after scooting thru the first couple rapids nervously. THEY'D HOOKED on it and plan to leave the fishing poles home next spring when we start those fun trips. Not one fish was caught on this trip LOL. This trip went a little faster because we planned a shorter route, but also it was after some rain went thru.

Ill post a couple pics of the trailer with the removable kayak rack on it. Its not done yet though. Have a little more to do on it next week after this weather breaks

BYW - i am not getting emails that these messages where posted in the thread even though i have that box clicked
