Caught last thurs.
I am going to disappoint you all but, a 5in senko.
I was fishing rogers park yes rogers park school pond. The bigger pond in the front.
I fished the road side with a soft frog searching for bass under and around weeds but, nothing.
When my friend arrived we moved toward the farm / drain side.
I seen odd movement about 5-10 yards in front of me but, I thought it could have been a muskrat.
I proceeded to pitch my senko (1st cast in this area)out in front of a patch of weeds about 5ft from where I seen the movement.
Bam a soft hit, I set the hook and my line gets really lose and it seems I have lost the fish.
I start reeling up and my line darts left, a short retrieve and I see this strange fish.
I start laughing "dude u see this fish, you see its stomach"
It seemed like it was going to explode! _________________

Sweet, it's probably a big bullfrog or a rat. I'm surprised it even looked at your bait with a fat gullet like that. Very cool though. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

NICE!!!!! That could be a Lake Amistad sow! Also, thanks for the great Bass REPORT! Nice to have heard where this one came from, not just from one of those "secret ponds." Again, great job! |
