not much of a fishing report but hey its a report. the original plan was to hit McDonough but due to there being a 15 to 20 boat tourney we didnt know about we went to colebrook instead. i really did not have any high expectations from the ol colie. place only ever fish's good for me in the fall anyway.........since we got a late start we were fishing by 8:30 or so. usual baits tied on DS, grub, spider jig. started working a few points and coves and got a few typical colebrook smallies most were LDR's. 12"ers is all that were biting.
a few rockbass and a few more rats and we called it quits at around 1:00.
not a one solid fish. alittle breezy out there today but managable. since i was working on about 4 hours sleep after after a late UFC night i wasnt to upset we bailed. most of my fish came on the spider grub and i think most of my partners came on a jig also. pretty slow fishing day and the bite was few and far between. should have picked a differant place or bailed earlier for more fruitfull waters. |
