fished north farms on 7/11 and black pond on 7/12.... throwing frogs like no tomorrow; north farms had tons of smacks and waves under the pads but only one actually took it and i didnt get the hook in. had another there hit hard enough to pop my bait about 6ft out of the water; interesting sight. black pond i fished mainly the frog but i did manage a pickeral on rattlebait however lose it. when i was getting a bunch of hits on the frog but no takers i would flip and pitch but nothing there either...... no fish days |

I love fishing the frog just started using it a few weeks ago. You always get a hit no matter how cloudy, windy, or hot the weather is. I have never landed one though. I threw the frog a lot at Winchester and hooked one bass be he snapped me off because I was using mono. I got braid now and I am going back there soon. |
