So Lyman and I went out to fish for an hour or 2 and had a great late afternoon of fishing. these days fishing has been very hard for me to fit in, but I am sure glad we went out. we both caught 6-8 fish most of them were in the 2lb range... we both caught a couple 3lbers which was great! all caught on Yum ribbon tail worms, zoom magnum lizards and Yum crawfish. Slight wind coming in from the west, cloudy.
As it slowed down a bit i switched over to my baitcaster with a Jig and Pig and caught my biggest of the day and the biggest in probably a year... a nice 5lb LMB. First cast, working the Jig on the bottom about 20ft. off the short... he hit it at about 15 ft off short... set the hook and wow! he was heavy and aggressive.

thanks! yeah great coloring. This is rarely fished. one thing i noticed is all these fish fight like crazy! very aggressive fish
