Long Island sound is riddled with Spiny Dogfish. Today while fishing we caught 7 up to 5 feet.
This is the earliest I have ever caught them here. This could be very bad for all the bait fish and crustaceans. They along with sand sharks eat everything.

| Yeah, we ran into a bunch of them while bottom fishing near Fishers. I never saw them so thick. |
