Nothing really to write home about but last weekend I checked out a small pond near where I recently moved to and got a nice little guy, he was about 13" long and maybe 2 lbs. Im not bragging lol, I know its not a monster but I always get excited when I reel in the first Large mouth of the year

First of the year is always a big deal for me too,...congrats!

You're encouraging me to go out and wet some lines in this weather!!...even when it’s still on the cold side you manage to catch a nice first one for the season! Nice!
