One of my days off there's no boat rentals, is it worth it to even go there without the boat rental

Considering most fish are migratory pending weather and season fishing off the Dock is hit or miss. Bass are ready to spawn if they haven't started already. If they're spawning the left side of the dock can be a good starting point. I've done well along the shore on the entrance side but walking there can be challenging. Ticks on the other hand are a whole nother story. Go left or right of the dock and you'll see the warning signs.

After experiencing the ticks I've only rented boats since.
