Fished quinnopaug with JustForFun today 1-4
water temp was just 40
2 pickeral boated between the two of us; missed 2-3 others;
no bass :-/
either way a nice time to get out; thanks mark!

$0 is cold, but that lake warms quickly...2 weeks from now it should be jammin....just in time to stock it and keep us off for a few weeks....

Nice to get out,...it wasn't bad at all except when we were in the breeze. Unfortunately though, there is no place on that lake to get out of the breeze!!   Oh well, it was mainly just to shake out the cobwebs and make all those first-outing mistakes like swinging with the drag too lose and hauling off on that first long cast without adjusting the baitcaster brakes etc etc.
Oh well, it only gets better & warmer from here,....right?? 
BTW, I normally don't bother with pickeral pics,..but that one was just shy of 5#.
