Got out on the river for a few hours Monday afternoon. Looked like it was pretty close to high tide and water temp was 56 give or take a little. Began in the Salmon River for a while with nothing to show for it,..so I worked my way back up towards Haddam, fishing a flickshake worm and a light jig around the thinning weeds and wood. Only managed 3 bass in 3 hours but one was pretty decent, weighing a little over 3.5# and nothing toothy for some reason! Here's the biggun for the day,...sorry about the picture but I was too lazy to get out the tripod, so the camera was just resting on the deck!
