Has anybody heard of a recent weed kill at Beseck Lake?
Nick P., what was the weed situation when you guys fished it a couple weeks ago? _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

Thanks Stumpy, as I suspected the weed kill was a false rumor. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

IT IS TRUE.
The weeds were heavily matted about a month and change ago. A week before Slimecoats lunker tourney there I got some good fish out matts. There were still matts there during the tourney. Then they disappeared.
The homeowners on the lake told me the rain did it. But then the water bloomed and it was clear that something was done to the shallow weeds.
They dissapeared in less then 2 days. |
