| Has anyone fished Batterson lately? If so, how is it looking? I know it gets nasty, but I have caught some good sized fish there in the past. I am thinking about heading over there this afternoon since it close to my house. It will be my first time fishing since APRIL! Any info would be appreciated. |

| I've fished there with good results. My only concern is the boat launch. I always feel like I'm gonna get mugged if you know what I mean. |

| My buddy fishes there twice a week from a kayak and has very good luck. THis year hes got a 5 ish largemouth and 2.5 ish small mouth |

| [/quote] HAHA.......Yeah, there is a tough crowd there sometimes. One trip there last year some kids were trying to steal tackle off my canoe when I was launching..... And I was in the Canoe when this was going on! Emptylake......I did not realize there was smallmouth at batterson. I guess thats good because who doesnt like smallmouth? |
