Fished this morning with WishinIWasFishin from kayaks. We started out with high hopes for a frog bite at Beaver Dam Marsh. Not much luck. We got a few on frogs and on senkos, but all dinks.
Made a move late morning to Halls Pond. I fared well with a 2.5lber and a 3lbs 1oz in the hour and a half we were there. One on a senko and one on a swim jig.
Wishin didn't fare so well there and ended up with a broken Daiwa Megaforce. I have one too and have to say I'm not that impressed. Mine doesn't engage after the cast most times. I have to flick the thumb bar back up. His seemed to be jumping gears somehow. |
