keeping an eye on the up coming weather for the week and i figured i"d take advantage of today and try silver lake again. got there with the girlfriend about 445am and the water had some waves but calmed down quick. started off slow but picked up soon enough, for me atleast; girlfriend took a nap in the boat. i was on my 7th bass before she decided to wake up and within 5 minutes being up she picked up this guy on senko
being that she doesnt fish much, this made her happy
ended up catching my 10bass goal, 1 sunnie, and the girlfriend had 1 bass, and 1 catfish: left at about 9am. everything caught on pop'r and senko.

Nice job djmon & girlfriend. I've been fishing Silver Lake for over 20 years and never have I ever caught a catfish there. Go figure!

| i know bullheads have been in there for awhile but i believe d.e.p. just started stocking channel cats last year. |
