Nice looking reel As far as the bird nest deal just make sure you adjust the reel to the lure your throwing and it will make for far less backlashes good luck _________________ I Eat ,Sleep and Dream about fishing cant get enough |

Ok it has a 2 pin brakeing system i suggest you try it first haveing both pins inguaged .. Tie on the frog and hold the rod in the air and reliese the spool it should fall at a controlled rate no backlash if it comes down fast there should be a small cap nut on the outside near the drag you can tighten that also to adjust the fall rate the biggest thing to baitcast reels is not to try and cast them a mile do a soft cast once you get used to it you can reliese the pin brakes and start gaining distance hope this gets you started

Theres a Gander Mtn. in Middletown Ny york also Beave. I think thats the closest to us. Its right off 84 and the junction of 17. About an hour and a half ride from around Waterburry.
Ive been to a couple of them. I think the other was in PA. Its a pretty good store. Sort of a mini cabelas. They also have a self branded set of stuff (rods and reels).
Not much for a website, but have a look, http://www.gandermountain.com/
Its worth the ride if you want a mini trip
Im wondering why you didnt go with a low profile baitcaster sevnseat? _________________ Thar aint NO fish in here !!!!!!!! |

I have used them both i started with the round reels and since switched over to the low profile feels better in the hand but they both work the same the newest one i bought diawa fuego is by far smaller than most low profiles my curados seem hudge compared to it
But that reel at that price is a no brainer im sure you will get used to it _________________ I Eat ,Sleep and Dream about fishing cant get enough |
