8:00 - 12:00
Water Temps - Mid 60's
Light breeze generally out of the north
Air Temp - MId 60's at start 90's at then end
8 Bass, 7 Keepers
All the keepers were in 6' or more.
All came on a drop shot with a finese worm as bait
Color didn't seem important caught them on black grape, smoke with purple fleck and green pumpkin.
All were light hits.
Most were the typical 13" Bashan specials. Had two nicer fish an SMB that went 14" and a LMB what was just short of 16". After a very hectic week I was just looking to spend some quiet time on the boat in the middle of a lake. The good fishing was a very pleasant blessing, as was running into a fellow I sold my old aluminum to and chatting with him and his partner after getting off the water!
Although its an 80 minute drive from the house. I really like the lake.
The fellow I was supposed to fish with backed out for the 2nd time in a row last minute and had an open seat. If you're a shorebound angler who'd like to hook up, send me a PM. It's one of the things I like to do is get shorebound anglers out on the boat and let them enjoy it. The company's always great.
