Advertised Cash Awards Based on a Minimum of 50 Teams. There is a $5.00 Optional Lunker Pool which can be sent with the Entry fee. Late Entries will be accepted at the Launch.
RULES
1.
THIS IS A TEAM TOURNAMENT. A team consists of MALE/FEMALE or FEMALE/FEMALE or ADULT/ADOLESCENT CHILD
under the age of 18 years old in one (1) BOAT.
2. All contestants, ages 16 and over, must be CONNECTICUT licensed fishermen.
3. Live bait, trolling and ALCOHOLIC beverages are PROHIBITED.
4.
Only one (1) rigged rod may be used at one time per contestant. Other rigged rods may be in the boat.
5. All Bass must be caught live and in a conventional manner.
6. All fishing must be accomplished from the BOAT. Contestants cannot depart the BOAT to land a fish. All contestants must leave
the official launch area by BOAT and return by BOAT.
7. Contestants who are NOT in the official launch area on time shall be DISQUALIFIED. An excuse given for tardiness will be
considered by the Tournament Committee. If the excuse is voted acceptable, there will be no penalty.
8. Scoring will be determined by pounds and ounces. The Tournament winners will be determined by total pounds and ounces. Only
LARGEMOUTH and SMALLMOUTH BASS will be weighed with an eight ( fish limit.
9. ALL BASS will be a minimum of 12 (twelve) inches in length. Weighing in of a short fish will result in a disqualification.
10. Ties will be broken in the following manner: 1) By weight of the largest fish. 2) By the total number of fish weighed.
11. Sportsmanship, courtesy, safety and conservation are expected from each participant. Each BOAT must have standard COAST
GUARD safety equipment.
12. Each BOAT must have a live well or big cooler. All live wells will be inspected prior to launch.
13. Boat numbers will be issued on receipt of entry. BOATS will be OOZED-OFF in order of their number.
14. The Tournament waters will be patrolled by Tournament Judges, and they can be called upon to resolve any problems that might arise.
15. A one (1) fish courtesy measurement per BOAT will be allowed.
16. Four (4) ounces will be deducted for each dead fish and for each fish not released alive at the end of the Tournament. At the weigh-in,
each team will weigh in their fish together to obtain their placement in the standings.
17. The Connecticut Bassmen reserves the right to refuse any application. _________________ Roll Tide Roll!! |
