Fished Bantam on Sunday with my daughter. FROZE MY AZZZZZZZZZZZ OFF! Managed 1 lg mouth bass - 4 lbs on a black and yellow mepps and my daughter caught a 5 lb northern pike on a jointed rapala. She had fun, so I guess it was worth the weather.

sounds like a fun day - that is a good way to bond with your kid and she out fished you to boot:). weight wise. How old is your daughter? I can't wait till my son is old enough to fish with me on the boat; he will be 2 on 5/11/08 so I got to wait a couple more years:(. good job bearing the weather and catching a few, Bantam can be a tough lake to fish.

That's a good day although I hate those cold days.interesting choice on the mepps. Don't see that mentioned as much.
