After a relatively warm winter, spring has regressed. It's snowing where I live and that's no April Fool's joke.

I plan to post the occasional fishing report, this year, after taking a long break from writing much, last year. During that time, I ran into several people who told me that they got something useful out of at least some of my posts.

If you're out on the water, keep an eye out for me in my orange kayak, El Habañero, or my new boat, which is a gray, silver and black Triton 179 TrX with a Mercury 115 Pro XS four-stroke on the stern:



Yes, I got an ass boat, so that I can blow through No Wake Zones without slowing down and still be TOTALLY AWESOME.

I haven't decided whether I'll name the new boat. I kinda like the name Bao, but think that it might feel awkward having that on the stern.
