Went to Lower Bolton mid-day Saturday with fellow BAWS memeber Nic. It was cold and windy to say the least. Had were freezing after 10 minutes. Was able to catch one bass - about 1.5 lbs on a hair jig. Water temp was in the high 30's. This time of year, any fish for me is a bonus, so I'll take it! _________________ Bringing Along Weighty Sacks

It's good just to get out this time of year! I bundled up and hit Rogers for a few hours Sat and a few more on Sunday. The total for the 2 days was 3 perch, 2 pickeral and 1 bass (2.5#). Everything was on a jerkbait,..which was the only thing that they seemed to want to touch! Water temp was low 40's if that matters to anyone.
One thing about it,..it feels good to get out,..but then it feels even better to come back in !! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

At least you didn't catch the skunk T_Shan. The fact that the seaon is starting up again is a good feeling. No more cabin fever! _________________ Eat, Sleep, Fish......I Love my SKEETER ZX225!!!
