Tuesday afternoon I hit Mondo Ponds.

As I covered water, I looked for bass nesting and also threw a combination of lures.

Only found 1 bass nesting, but it wouldn't hit anything.

Had a few pickerel chase topwater.

A special retrieve I had going with any HJ-6 I threw was a stop and go retrieve, giving it a nice jerk before pausing for no more than a second or 2. That caught me a total of 2 cookie cutters, 1 crappie, 7 pickerel, and 8 bluegills. Lost a number of fish too.
