Took a guide out in the Florida Everglades canals last Friday. We launched out of Sawgrass Rec. area outside of Ft. Lauderdale. Capt. Mark Shepard had us on fish all morning. We fished all artificials which was fun. They had had the first real rain in about a month the day before, so the water rose a foot and put the bite off a bit. Caught a good amount of bass and a few oscars. Stayed out for about 5 hours. At least I got to feel the tug of some fish. Wasn't fun coming back to the cold. _________________ Bringing Along Weighty Sacks
