Hey guys, I just moved here from utah and so I have no idea where to look as far as catfishing goes, but after doing a bit of research I have found that apparently the ct river has some pretty nice channel/white cats.

I live in guilford, and unless there are any closer spots where I have a chance to catch large catfish I was wondering if there has been any luck catching catfish shorefishing the spots along river road in middletown.

Again, I want to fish somewhere as close as possible, so I am looking for recommendations are where to fish for cats anywhere, not just along river road.

Although this is posted in the river forums don't be afraid to tell me if there are some good catfishing lakes around too
