Thursday afternoon I arrived at Seaside around 1. Tide was almost high. Air was nice but winds were a gusty west and northwest. Lots of sand and shells were on the road and sidewalk.

Throughout the day, birds never got active and I never got a single hit, swirl, explosion, or follower.

3 fishermen who were throwing chunks of mackerel and bunker each landed a blue around 9 or 10 pounds.

The only signs of life I saw were a bluefish jump out of the water and a small pod of peanut bunker jump only once.

Hit the road just before sunset
