| Was thinking about heading to black pond in Meriden this weekend but I want to know how the fishing was for anybody who has gone lately. Is it over fished? How packed has it been? What are you catching? And if you don't mind filling me in on the bait you found to worked better that would be awesome. I have shiners, killis, mousy grubs, and spikes. Thanks! |

| been there a few times (not my favorite place ) but we go straight across from the ramp to the other side where there was a boat house . about 50' off shore ....med. shiners. with tipups. some bass, pickerel but there are some BIG ASS trout in there also DEP just stocked them a month ago or so.....probably in deeper water. |
