2 buddies and I hit a long stretch of the Norwalk River Saturday afternoon. The water was running nicely, even though it was strong and high.
As we headed upstream and downstream, we each played with a variety of lures. 1 of the guys had 2 hits on a pink Rooster Tail. I had a follower on the helsinki shad HJ-6.
Later is when the other 2 threw Power Bait in a nice pool and 1 landed a 6" native brown.
Hit the road around 4:15pm |
